Together We Can Make A Difference

It's been a year now since our world was turned upside down by this Pandemic. For most of us this has been the biggest challenge we have ever had to face. Through all of this we have learned that staying positive and diligent is the key. Together we can all make a difference and focus on going forward into a brighter tomorrow. I'd like to share a video of some of the positive actions that I have taken in 2020 in hopes that I can inspire others to do the same. 

Within the 'Whispering Falls' community we offered:

~ 'Front Porch' sessions. This allowed our neighbors the opportunity to be photographed, be creative and have fun while social distancing. 

~ 'The 'Easter Bunny' did a drive by and went around the block a couple of times to make sure he was able to wave at all the children. Then he offered a special 'social distancing' photo session so families could still have that special moment to remember. 

~ As 'Graduation' rolled around we made available a special package, including cap and gown, of portraits to give them something memorable as commencement was not an option this year for most. 

~ We even had a special visitor at Whispering Falls - 'Santa and his Elves' stopped by and made a couple trips around waving at all who braved the cold and had a special treat for many. Now we all know Santa and that twinkle in his eye. Well, in the spirit of the 2020 year, Santa had a little something made up for 'Whispering Falls' community. A beautifully wrapped present that looked like a giant candy! Inside was a roll of toilet paper and some sweet treats!  Santa even made time to give all families the opportunity to have their yearly photo with him, social distancing of course!

~ I am proud to say - 'All Studio sessions and on location', were treated with the greatest respect for our clients with covid -19 rules in place and will continue until were in a safe place.   

A few outside events:

~  With 'Whispering Fall' community, I wanted to capture some of the creative activities that our neighbors joined in together as I did and brought each other together during this time. Offering them printing price only, I created a 'Whispering Falls' book to remember this time and look back on later on in years. 

~ 'Adopt a Senior' was a special way of helping our graduating seniors feel special during one of the most important milestones in their lives. 

~ 'Senior Reps' Were able to enjoy special perks and sessions through out the year. I even participated in the 'Adopt a Senior' for 2020 and I would do it all over again!  

~ 'Wedding' Taggert and Isabelle were challenged with their wedding plans but successful. While I had 4 weddings that decided to postpone until 2021.

~ In our 'Celebration of 32' years in business had to be postponed from last June until June 10th of this year and will take place if everything looks ok. 

~ It was a pleasure to capture special moments for my church Emmanuel and can not wait to return when things are better but have chosen to stay on line services for now. 

~ While we have been challenged with this Pandemic and not able to move forward with our normal activities like we would like, I decided to take advantage of some of my down time and study to become a Certified Professional Photographer. I have passed my written and waiting to complete the image submissions part soon. I am excited to finally be able to get past this goal in my life. My next goal is to finish out my Master's in photography that I have recently started doing. Wish me luck!!

~ Let's not forget the bonus we received with the newest members of our family last year, our little Tea Cup Poodle 'Charlie Tanner Ollie Biscuit Dyer' and our first GG Granddaughter little 'Paisley Marie Bruce'!  Such blessings to our family...

Many new positive things are already in place for the new year 2021 for our family and I can not wait to share with you this time next year! Throughout the many challenges of 2020 and today, we have tried to give back to our community the best way possible. By thinking positive, and having a little fun, we strive to help you move forward in our journey during these trying times. Hope to see you in the near future and Please stay safe...
